    Oh, No! Bagpipes!
I was editing some video the other night. Babe, our new parrot was fine until a clip with bagpipes was played. At that point she started saying "Owwww!" and "Help!" Apparently, Babe is not a fan of bagpipes.

Awwww! :D I have no idea if my parrot liked bagpipe music... I can't remember if I ever played any around him and what he did.

He was, however, a HUGE fan of ska music and LOVED the trombone. He would do his best impersonation of a trombone and "sing along" with any tunes that had it. He even had a favorite band (the Grownups) and would ask for them by name (I didn't teach him that, he picked up their name from their title song) at the same time every day. What a riot!

Thanks for sharing that video with us... maybe she'll warm up to bagpipes ;)

Animals are a lot smarter than a lot of people give them credit for. I love this story.

That's an awesome story. My cat isn't fond of the pipes either.

My dog loves to sing along when we are practicing our instruments in the house. Well - practicing anything other than the piano. We put him outside before my son starts practicing his trumpet. And he really gets going when I'm playing my chanter or one of my recorders.
