I just got an email from the Ardbeg Committee regarding their new product, Ardbeg Alligator. I believe it is scheduled for release in North America this month. Maybe a little too strong for some, but it sounds like something I'd like to try. If anyone has had it, let us know how it was. If you know where to get it, please share that as well. Cheers.

I just sent an e-mail to my local spirits store asking about this product. Hopefully, they plan to carry is scotch. It sounds great!

After a little checking, it appears that it is available now (in the UK only) through the on-line Ardbeg shop (limited release for Ardbeg Committee members). The release in the US is scheduled for around September.

Is it out yet, Steve? I was thinking the same thing, the Kelvin Arms being a good place to sample new flavors before investing in a whole bottle! :)

I don't see it listed at my go-to places online (Spec's, 67Wine, Healthy Spirits). Hopefully that means it isn't here yet, rather than it being already gone.

If someone sees the Alligator in the U.S., post a review!
