Complaint with USA Kilts
I don't mind a USAK badge being sewn on the casual and philabeg kilts.
As a businessman I understand the need to advertise.
But I am sorry, but I have been compelled to remove the badge from the kilt, reason...it's a little too large!!
Can you make smaller ones?

Graham,
I'm starting to think you may have too much time on your hands. :)

Colin,
With the number of posts that Graham has and seeing this picture, I know that he has way too much time on his hands

Ah! so this was the project you hinted at
Was it a straight a swop sign for kilt barter?
I bet postage will cripple you.If not the postman.  I know send it by Fax

Actually, that one patch is what keeps me from considering a USAKilt. I would buy one in a second if I knew I could get one minus patch.
Instead of patch, how about a free teeshirt?
Seriously. I LOVE the Highland Grey tartan. And I love the look of the kilts. But that banana yellow patch makes me wince. :?
Rocky, if you read this, you have a customer willing to buy if you can do this.

WOW Graham! I knew you were working on that, but I am still shocked. Rocky is going to love that!

Does that Shield come with a Claymore?

There's a thing called a seam ripper, or a small knife, or scissors that will easily remove the patch from the apron. They're not applied with epoxy... just a simple straight stitch. Go slow and it's a breeze!
Don't let a patch deter you from buying a kilt!

But doing that would be like scribbling a mustache on the Mona Lisa.
It is good to know they are not epoxied or otherwise permanately fixed.
Once tried to remove brand label from a pair of pants. Lost whole back pocket.
Good to know, but, still feel like I would be defacing something. I don't mind ravaging a pair of trousers, but, doing anything to injure a kilt would be a terrible thing indeed. :!:

You know, there are kilt makers out who won't force you to advertise for them and their kilts are made without any patch.
