Welcome, Barry!
Hi Barry and welcome to "X Marks the Scot".
(Barry is an auld acquaintance, Guys, who lives not so very far from me - just a bit further West!)
You know what I am like, Barry. Well, the other guys here are much the same, only more so. We all get along well together. We're fiercely moderated by Hank and his two henchmen, so no-one dares to put a foot wrong which, considering we are all avid kilties, is hardly likely anyway.
Hope you settle in well and soon get involved with what goes on here.

Who is Barry? The only Barry I know is Barry Talendor who left Tom's Cafe lately. Anyway, Welcome Barry!
Or is this again a joke I don't understand?

Hi, I would like to welcome Barry too but I can find no introductory message before Hamish's posting. Is there a glitch somewhere? Who is Barry and what's he all about? Speak up Barry!- Alan

Ooops! I hope I have not given the wrong impression here, chaps.
Barry and I have never met. I stated that he is an acquaintance, not necessarily a friend (although I am sure he is a friendly sole). We were acquaintances at Tom's Café in the good old days. It also just so happens that we live maybe 40 or so miles apart - but, as I say, we have not yet met. Don't ask me why. It just hasn't happened!
Barry (yes, Wolfgang, it IS Barry Talendor) has not yet introduced himself here. It was just that I noticed that he was shown as the latest registered member.
No doubt he will appear when he is ready to do so.
