    Kilted Chimes

Yes, this may be the effects of four days of battling sinus pressure but it seemed to work out.

Jonesing for my basil survival I went ahead and bought one of those large UK kilt wind socks like they hang at their booths. Its like a mini kilt.

When it arrived I had no clue where to hang it...been pondering what to do with it for a few weeks.

Tonight, decided to get it hung somewhere and looked over all the possibilities.

Noticed I have some Chimes of Java wind chimes hanging from a hook in my home office. Danged if the kilt sock rig doesn't fit right over them, just a bit larger. The effect is "Kilted Chimes." They still ring...just when you look at them you see a kilt instead, except for some of the longer chimes hanging out the bottom a ways...

Gotta seem bizzare when you read it, but it actually works...feng shua or whatever. Sorry no pictures yet.

    Ron,

When I first read the subject line, I thought that you found a new kilt company. But I do like the idea of kilted chimes!
