Dia Dhuit everyone. I am new here and just wanted to say SOMTHING. I am a third generation Scott-Irish American. I have two kilts, a Amerikilt (Black) and a Still Water Kilt Irish National Tartan. I love both kilts, and have designated Fridays as my kilt day, though more oft than not I wear either kilt more than three or four days a week.

I am a college student and work weekend evenings. So week end outings dont realy exist for me. Id love to find fellow kilted people where I go to college, but that is highly unlikely. I go to college in an Italian town.

The Irish National from Stillwater is one I have sitting in my closet. I'm sitting in my Hunting Stewart from USA at the moment.

Glad to see that you have found the joy of kilting while in college, sort of wish that I did.

Keep kilting more and more and then it will become a major non-event.

It doesn't surprise anyone at school anymore, it only surprises the older Italians in town when i wear me kilt.

Here is an interesting fact. I have an English professor who wears a Utilikilt every Friday, but it wasnt untill after I had his class one seimester that he got a kilt, I was all about my celtic herritage while in his class.

It wasnt until after he got his kilt that I got mine, the cause... Finances. I love the SW its price and material are awsome, the workmanship is nice as well. AND its easy to resize. I ordered mine a little big and didnt have the money for restock and all that so i resized it meself and you cant tell the difference.

I plan on getting a USA kilt when I can afford it, Probably a Irish County Tartan, dont know if Connaught exists.
