I'm going Saturday and maybe Sunday. I was planning on just driving up each day but camping is free, you say?

I can't find the price for camping and this is in the skiresort itself and a lot of times at games like these they mention the campsite price....I'll give them a call and let you know what's going on, it's seems to me that it's free though...the kids would love it!

I am going, I was under the assumption that there wasnt any camping allowed within the confines of Loon Mountain. I was going to try & find a campsite locally. But, if they allow camping onsite, I am gonna camp there instead!
Oh, yes, I plan on attending.

For anyone who hasn't been to the NH Highland Games, I highly recommend it. There are plenty of good deals to be had, good entertainment, and of course, the games themselves. If you go to nhscot.org there's also information on whiskey tastings and other events that weekend.
Unfortunately, I'm not going to make it this year.

I am looking into the Lost River campground http://www.lostriver.com. It's only about 15 minutes away and $25 for a tent site. I don't know if they have any sites open but I will be calling them tomorrow to see how many sites they have.

I'm going to try to get up there. It'd be my first Highland Games. Thanks for reminding me about it in time. This time, I wrote it down.

Planning to be there. FYI. The KENNEDY Clan is the featured clan this year with the Clan Chief coming to the games from the United Kingdom.

I wish there were more hotels, B&Bs or inns near by. I can't seem to convince my wife to camp that late in the year (tenderfoot!) and there hasn't been an available room for 50 miles since early spring. I'll be making reservations for next years NH games this coming November. Then maybe I'll actually find a place to saty.
