    A quick question

Okay I admit I am still new to kilting, and have been reading these forums for only a short while. I have recently seen the work tank to describe some kilts, now I have kinda figured out what traditional, and contemporary are but what is a tank? Excuse the ignorance.

We used to have some FAQ's, but they don't seem to be here anymore.... A Tank is a fully traditional wool 8 or 9 yard kilt that is "built like a tank!"

Like I said, there used to have some FAQ's..............?

Hey, you're right, they've taken a walk. Okay, count on Grant to screw up the relevance of my answer while I'm still writing it. Other parts of the definition I believe were that kilt be made of 16oz wool and handsown.

    Best regards,

    Jake

Would have been even more fun if there was a link that linked to this thread, or another that was only a link to that thread.

Did I not just say that, um YESTERDAY? How come you mods don't read my posts unless I've done something wrong?
