Kilted Character in a Video Game
I was recently playing the video game "Polar Golf." It consists of a fantasy golf course within a polar setting. You have a choice of several different characters to play. One of these is a gopher, who wears a kilt, sporran, and balmoral. other than that, he is shirtless and has a LARGE handlebar mustache.
I've only used him and the polar bear in the Hawaiian shirt. The bear gets more distance on his drives, but the gopher is better at putting in my experience.

After much complaining, I know that the MMORPG City of Heroes now has a multitude of kilted characters running all over the place.
My sons are a few of them.

They have Zakk Wylde kilted in World Tour for Guitar Hero and even have a toy figure of the same.

There was a fighting game for the Atari Jaguar called Kasumi Ninja, which included a kilted character. One of his moves involved shooting fireballs from underneath his kilt, a pic of which is available at MobyGames.

Fore!
the "build-a-golfer" feature in my hopelessly outdated Tiger Woods X-box game, (X-box, not X-box 360. maybe TW 98?) has allowed me to make a fair representation of me in a kilt. Would that I could play golf as well in real life...

The older versions of Tiger Woods for PS2 used to have a character named Hamish Macgregor. Guy could hit the ball 450 yards but had no idea where it was going.
Later versions allowed me to create a pretty good version of me in a male unbifurcated garment, if I do say so meself.
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

Rock Band 2 allows you to put a kilt on your character, except that it is not pleated, just folded like an accordion...all the way around...

That would be why he had to wear the kilt. Lightning bolts from his a... would burn holes in trousers
