Greetings everyone. I'm new to the forum and I thought I would introduce myself. I'm not a Kilt wearer just yet but I will be as soon as the kilt I ordered arrives from Edinburgh. I ordered a 8 yrd. kilt from Balmoral two nights ago and I can't wait to get it on and swinging. This will be my first of hopefully many kilts I own.
I'm a Recent Member of Clan Cochran. I've always had an affinity for Scotland but only in the past year have I actively researched my name and found out my families history.
I've been saving quite a while to kit myself with highland dress and two night ago I began with a Cochrane modern kilt from scotweb and tonight I ordered a fly plaid, plaid brooch, Balmoral bonnet, cap badge, kilt belt and buckle. All I have left to get are a pair of brogues and a decent dress shirt to finish my kit.
Anyway, I'm pleased to meet you all and hope to have some good discussions.
