Free suits
If anyone needs a suit for job interviews, etc. PM me. These are off-the-peg suits I bought at various times in London when I needed a suit "right now". They are all in good shape, and are quite presentable if you are looking for work.
Size is the ubiquitous 44, some are regulars, some are longs. There is a double breasted in a very subdued medium brownish-grey "glen plaid", a dark grey pin stripe, a navy (with the cuff buttons missing for some odd reason I can't recall), a light blue linen suit, and a tan linen suit.
The suits will fit someone 6ft/6ft 1-inch tall with a 36 waist and a 42/44 inch chest. All I'm asking is that you pay for the postage, and that you only take a suit if you need one. Sometimes looking for a job (and getting it) depends on nothing more than a pressed suit and shined shoes.

I do not need one, but may I compliment you on the generous offer

I compliment you, sir. Your's is a grand gesture.

Very generous, Sir. I know the fashion of wearing suits to job interviews has been in a decline, here lately. With the job market the way it is, a person needs every advantage they can get to landing a job.
I think it's a good thing to be able to share. My hat is off to you, Sir.

Generous indeed - that's what I love about XMarks. I hope they can be put to good use by our little clan.

Is this a suitable topic for Xmarks?
Seriously though I hope someone can find them useful. I have a suit that I believe I have worn about three time in as many years and therefore am not able to take up the offer.

Curses! I am too short and too fat!
Rex.
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

I'm too short and two scrawny.
Hope they find good homes; that grey and brown, double breasted one sounds interesting, and the blue linen sounds very nice too. And how could you go wrong with a navy blue suit at a job interview... Very kind of you M.O.R.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
