Another new guy
Hello to everyone from me, Canuck of NI. I've replied a few times already but have never introduced myself, first time introducer, long-time Scot-Irish. The Canuck part of my name is obvious and reflects my present nationality, the NI is not (entirely) a reference to Monty Python but rather a reference to a province of Great Britian. You figure it out! Of personal relevance to this forum, I have the rather common guilty knowledge that most of my ancestors feared and hated the kilted but I have cast of the chains of English cultural dominance and have embraced my Celtic side! And in that regard, I extend my personal thanks to the folks in the US South who created and registered the Forrester tartans; otherwise I used to wear the MacDonald Lords of the Isles tartan. Slainte!
Hoping this goes to the correct Newbie place... I hate reading directions....
