No Kilted Prom Yet?
Having just heard a news story about a different "Prom Controversy", I note that it's already March 12 and we have not yet gotten any posts from high school students freaking out because they aren't being allowed to wear their kilt to their prom.
Do you think that it has finally become a non-issue and is now totally acceptable? Wouldn't that be nice...

I didn't go to the prom, that was back in the early nineties, and I doubt they would have allowed kilts. I never really understood the prom anyway; although, I suspect it is one of the rites of passage that everyone claims we don't have in our modern culture.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

My kids didn't go to prom. To much non-social boys for that kind of thing. But if they could have worn a kilt since the mascot is a highlander!
