The McNaughton's of Muirkirk, Scotland
I have recently traced a dormant line of mine to a Dan McNaughton, wife Jane Dickie, and daughter Janet F. McNaughton to West Canada (Ontario). All three came from Muirkirk, Scotland, in the mid-19th C. If anyone has connections, or is familiar with the family in that area, please, let me know. I do know that Dan, my three-times great-grandfather, was a coal miner from Muirkirk.
