A week of Scottish attire
In preparation for Burns Night, I decided to wear Scottish attire, tweeds, and tartan for the entire week. This will include wearing my kilt for at least 3 days (4 including Burns).
Today was day one. Here I am in my classroom. I regret to say that I am still not in possession of a proper kilt jacket, but that should be remedied in this next week if the postal service treats me well.

Good on you and I am glad that you feel you are wearing your take on "Scottish attire". Hopefully the experience will not prove too much for your class!

I should add that I have had this kilt for over 15 years but rarely wear it more than once or twice a year. It is my "New Year's Resolution" to start wearing it far more often. This is starting with trying to build up more appropriate attire and accessories to go with it. This is my start.

And a very good start it is, sir!

I agree with GrainReaper, on the hose. Your wife did a beautiful job knitting them.

Thanks Hawk,
Today is a tad bit boring as it is my typical attire. I was planning on trews, but I seem to have lost weight since wearing them last and they looked very poor on me. I opted instead for normal trousers with my favorite tweed jacket, argyle sweater vest, tie, and a tartan pocket square. Tomorrow, I will be in kilt again!
Here is a poorly taken "selfie."
