My how things change...
I ran across a Scotland travel VHS tape at the Library today. I didn't have anything planned for tonight so in it went. They were doing the touring bit and started on tartan weaving then showed a little on the kilt. They continued "...that a 'typical kilt could weigh as much as 7 pounds and made by a skilled craftsman could set you back a hefty $75.00."(!!!!!!)
OK, yes copyright is 1986 BUT it look like from film circa mid to late 70's.

ALSO, talked about a 12 yr old Scotch single malt at "around" $20.00 a bottle.
