Commonwealth Games Tartan and Team Uniform

I am less keen on the new tartan for the Scotland team than the two previous Commonwealth Games. Thoughts?

I've not been a fan of any of the Commonwealth tartans and none of the designs really work IMO. The current one, and light blue, purple and yellow horror that was the previous one are just the worse of a bad range.

As a tartan, it could generously be called garish. But as stadium wear it is merely loud.

I can't say that to my eye, the new tartan is any improvement on the previous ones. What a pity.

I'd say that's another example of a fashion designer turned loose to produce a 'tartan-like' design. Not quite as bad as the previous one. Maybe in a smaller sett it would look a little better. Maybe.

Maybe after a couple of pints, looking sideways. Wearing dark glasses. At night. Maybe. Maybe not.
