Richmond Va area
I thought I posted this before, but since I can't find it, I'll try again. How many of us are there in the Richmond Va area? Maybe we could set up some sort of get together around here. Personally I wouldn't mind driving say 100 miles or so for a get together in a place that is somewhat centraly located for most Va Kilt wearers. I was hoping that the proposed Delmarva thing might be a bit closer than Philadelphia

Ah but Philly is still worth the drive.

Kilt nights
Hello to everyone in Virginia! I'm new to this site, but am on the Yahoo UK group. We are trying to get together for a KNO. We are spread out - Richmond, Staunton, Culpepper, etc. Please contact me if anyone is interested in a get-together for the VA kilted. We are currently contemplating Fredericksburg, but we are open to new ideas. There are no firm plans, or plans at all!
Thanks!

I'm in Amelia county, if we can get a group together, I'll try to make it.

I am smack dab in the middle of Richmond. Come visit me at Herf House Cigars on W Broad St across from hooters. There is also another guy I ran into here in Richmond that wears a kilt full time.

kilt nights
Hi!
Okay, I roughly know where that shop is. Been to the Hooters once, a year ago.
I'm free on or after the 13th. I'll try to stop by after that, or we can try to set up something after next Friday.
Thanks!

What time on the 21st, Buddha. I might try to drop by as well. I've never smoked,(unless you count a little wacky weed in the 60s) But I'm definitely not an "anti-smoking NAZI". It's your life and you have the right to smoke if you want. As for the second hand baloney, well I spent 27 years working in a chemical plant, and if that hasn't hurt my lungs, breathing in a little smoke from a good cigar isn't going to hurt me.

Hanover Co., 5/28/05
Hanover County Heritage Fest is Saturday, May 28th. It is a very small event with reenactors, displays & a pipe band (St. Andrew's Society?). I'll be there before noon with my stepdaughter. I know of one other kilted gentleman who is planning on attending. FYI, we are not tartan-kilted, but Utilikiltarians.
Directions: I-95 to exit 92 (from the north) or 92A (from the south), Rt. 54 east to the intersection at Rt. 301. Turn right (south) and the courthouse complex will be on the left.
Hope to see somebody there!
