Peatbog Faeries
Has anyone heard these guys before. My wife when she lived in Scotland hung out with them after seeing them play at a pub and they gave her a demo of their CD Faerie Stories.
They are a cross between dance music with a little traditional flare ( there are pipes in their music) my favorite tune is Caberdrone.
If anyone knows anything or has heard of them let me know would like to get more of their music.

I have this album, and I enjoyed it, though I haven't played it in a while.

There's an image that will stir "Scottish/Celtic kilted masculine tradition dripping with testosterone" as Ron once put it ;).
Yes, we've been featuring the PF's on our radion broadcast, they are very good!
I looked at their website, they were in Australia along with Howie promoting 21st Century kilts!!!
and I didn't know!!

I was lucky enough to see them last year at the Tartan Day parade in NYC. They are an incredible group mixing traditional with rock. A very energetic band with nice vocals, pipes and violin. I have one of their CDs and look to get more. I understand they are coming back to NYC for the 2006 parade and I will be there. If you have a chance to see them or to get their music you will not be disappointed!

I, too, saw them at the Tartan Day Parade after-party. Bought one of their CD's that night and hope to purchase another soon. I highly recommend "Welcome to DunVegas".
