Fun day
My spouse talked me into going to the mall for a little endurance shopping yesterday. The good news was that another couple and their kids (about the same age as our two) could go with us. The ladies went their way, the kids, John (the other dad) and I went another way. I was, of course, kilted. The fun started as I walked in the door! The usual, black-sloppy-pants-chains-and-zippers-everywhere clad kids were smoking outside. I smiled and nodded as I entered. The reply was 'cool dude, you win at life!' Accepting the accolades with a gracious nod and tip of the cap (wall to wall grin and thumbs up) I procceded onward.
The days just got more fun! Lots of looks several nice comments from both genders and a couple of subdued whistles from, I hope, young females! Not bad for a 49 year old, balding, rounding, hauling two young kids along introverted male! Life was never like this when I was 20!
Just another kilted day in paradise!
