SnowDog
I dont get a chance to read everything that is ever posted on our forum so if this is a repeat please let me know.
I was just perusing the Braveheart forum and learned about SnowDog (a regular poster there) being killed. What in the world? It really caught me off guard and I dont remember reading anything about it here.
Please do not respond to this thread if you dont know anything about the situation. This isnt a matter to take lightly.
Thanks.
here is a quote from bravehearts. This really stinks.
I wasn't at the bar when the fight happened, as I had left about half an hour before, needing to get up early for work the next morning.
The bartender, a good friend of the both of us said he was quietly having a drink between sets, when the redneck demanded the band play a song by Lynyrd Skynyrd, which as most of our friends know would have set him off(hillbillys with electric guitars, was his favorite description of southern rock),and he responded with a hearty "HELL NO!"
So I guess the punk got mad and waited for him to leave, and jumped him in the parking lot, hitting him several times with a bat.
Steve (the bartender) found him when he was closing up about an hour later.
He hung on for most of the next day, and died about 10 that night from a massive brain hemorage.
He was a great guy, quick witted and funny, with a very sick sense of humor, an exceptional musician, with a thirst for knowledge, and was an inspiration to me personally.
Beannacht Dé,
Hank
