    Talking Let the jonesing begin

I finally oredered a my new Stewart Hunting from Rocky. I have had the measurements ready since this time last year but was hit with an unexpected divorce. I ordered the philabeg since it will primarily be used on the field for highland games. I don't know if I can make it another 5-6 weeks until it arrives. I will finally be able to replace the old style Sportkilt and use it only as a spare or around the house kilt. I am already saving for a semi traditional in the Scottish National tartan for my next one. And next years tax return will go toward the Bruce tartan family tank. Also considering a box pleated weathered Bruce by Mr. Newsome before then. I guess once you get started it's pretty hard to stop huh?

Stop? It's not an addiction, really. Ask Ham or Ron, they can stop anytime. I've only got 9 so far, and I could stop right now. But, then the new Stillwater heavyweight will be out soon in shadow tartan, and I don't have a Macneil or Gordon tank yet. Then there's .... and...

By the end of this month I'll be at 16. My mother threatened to come to New York and take away my credit card and computer.

I told her she could go ahead and do it...I'll just get another card and order from work. That's when she realized that resistance was futile....

    John,

A mighty fine Kilt you ordered! I know of the jones that you speak, not just the one coming from Rocky, but of all those that will be coming later. Bring 'em on!

Maybe we ought to do a sort of spreadsheet page of the forum listing those who have ordered a kilt, from where and what model/tartan/color and how bad the jonesing is on a five star rating system....

...we're all waiting for something at any given time.

Naaah - I could stop any time - any time at all - I just don't want to yet - but I could.

It's not hard to stop. I've stopped for a month or so several times.
