    Pleating trick or something added

I like the look of that kilt, my question is; does the fabric have it woven into it some how, and they pleated it so it would show or after they finished the kilt did they add the design. From what I have seen of the saltire kilt it is they pleating that makes that design happen.

    Just curious.

That's awesome. Just think of the designs you could get on the back of a cilt (ie. Celtic knots, maple leaf, shamrock, etc.)

Well, it will certainly draw attention to your backside! (Not that they aren't watching it already!)

And that would be bad for a Canadian?

    Thumbs down

Reminds me of the stencilled snowflakes we used to put on the widows at Christmas with cans of spray snow.

Sorry, but I think it detracts from what appears to be an otherwise beautiful kilt. (In fact, taking a closer look, it seems like a temporary window dressing sort of thing. You can see what appears to be some of the paint in a square pattern around the actual design.)

I'm with longshadows. And I wonder how it will wear. You wouldn't want to spend much time seated.

But then, I am a renowned grouch.
