    hairless sporrans

i'm trying to get ready for a memorial day dinner with a bunch of old jarheads from my unit in vietnam.

i need a formal wear sporran without all the hair and fur. glengarry hats has one thats all leather with a silver cantle.

does anyone have any other suggestions for a hairless formal sporran.

    thanks for your help

    mcvarmit,

You could look at the Celtic Croft's economy line:

    http://www.kilts-n-stuff.com/Highlan...s_economy.html

Specifically take a look at the SE04 model for $55

I have an earlier version of it and I think it's a good value for the money.
Here's a picture of me in my formal outfit with it.

Be warned that the sporran chain that come with these are pretty low quality and should be replaced.

Here's McMurdo's review of this very sporran.

You can buy what appears to be exactly the very same sporran directly from Sialkot at less than half that price:

$14 for the sporran, $12 for shipping.

Look like you got plenty of info on sporrans, but I did want to wish you a good reunion with your buddies.
