Just to let you know... these guys are marvelous!
I made sure to head downstairs at Stout to give the guys a listen, and they were truly wonderful. The harmonies are outstanding! For those that like the slower, melodic Scottish sound... these guys are the real deal. I can highly recommend their CD's on those quiet weekends on the deck.
I got the chance to meet the band, and we exchanged CDs. I just hope that they get half the enjoyment out of Barleyjucie that I'm getting out of their music!
You can hit their website to get more details. It's worth the time.

When I first came across them, I thought that their name was pronounced "scotcha" - as in Scoccia - rather than Scotia as in Alba Nuadh: a bit disappointed to find I was wrong. But their sound is good.
And I'm glad to see that a band from Hawick wears the kilt, so the town can display to best effect the cloth that it weaves.
Some good bands coming out of Scotland (or Scoccia) these days - and some imaginative sounds, too.

Yes, indeed, and the old Clan Douglas factory in Princes Street has recently been taken over by Lochcarron.
