Coffee with a Kiltmaker part 2
Hi all
Today Robert and I got together again for coffee this time near the Gooderham Building sometimes called the Flatiron Building. Unfortunately the building is covered in scaffolding, at least it seems like someone is trying to restore or at least maintain this fine bit of architecture.
It was a cold day with quite a bit of snow, so we could not get anyone to take our picture however I am sure that Robert will post his picture from inside the coffee shop.
Despite the weather which was and still is bad, (it took me 3 hours to get home normally it would take 30 minutes) it was wonderful meeting Robert again, I hope to do it again but we have to find another Toronto Landmark.
Here is Robert in front of the building,
This is the building from across the street in the Second Cup.

As I said a few more photos will come I am sure.

Not really a day to be outside today. Still not as cold as it was the last couple of days. Are there any other landmarks in Toronto, bearing in mind that two kilties with cameras and the glass floor of the CN Tower would be a fiasco. Then again Union Station or the Royal York...

I vote Honest Ed's.. where else would a Scot shop? Although, I think your weekly meetings should turn into a game, "Guess where the Kilties are in the T."
Great pics. We are getting the snow here too.

Tartan Ball
May drop by and watch the proceedings from the gallery. Supposed to be a good show with the pipers, dancers and all. The Fairmont Royal York is a great hotel. Once sang in the Imperial Room which is no longer open as far as I know.

That is what I will do as well, as I am but a beginner at SCD. I would however love to go down to see it.
