Ah, the end of the day.

I had a long day taking care of the "first of the month" errands and bills. I was up at 5 this morning and hopped on the bus at 6 - I don't drive and the bus costs only 25 cents one way. I arrived back at home at around 5 this evening completely exhausted.. I had visited 11 businesses, 3 banks, 9 bus transfers, and must have walked 11 miles - kilted the entire time, Seattle is a big place

One thing I have to look forward to at the end of a busy day is Oregon Chai. I settle down with a steaming cup of chai and some shortbread cookies.. makes even the busiest day worthwhile.

If you haven't tried Oregon Chai, I invite you to do so. Many coffee huts/shops carry it but I buy it in cartons at my local market.

What do you do to unwind at the end of your busiest days?

I usually have some honey and oatmeal after a busy day... That's about it.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Believe it or not, that, and a slice of dry toast, is my breakfast.

I make a cup of tea, put on (a local Irish band), and do some light reading.

I usually work out for a while and then sit down with a good book and a nice whisky.

As far as tea goes chai type tea goes, I like a home-made Yogi-Yogi Tchai. Absolutely lovely and it's great in winter.

Right now I'm about to have some green tea with jasmine, then I'm meeting some friends from work at the local pub for a pint or two. or three?

My favourite part of my day is coming home from work because I get to spend time with my boys going for walks and enjoying the relaxing with them.

This is Jeter, yes he is named after the short stop for the Yankees (I have been a member of the Evil Empire since I was 6 . There was also another less know Jeter who played fro the Packers in their first Super bowl win, ya I am a Cheese Head too!)

    This is Queeva

*Note they also have caught the tartan bug*

I like to listen to music to relax. Violin concertos or David Gray's "Lost Songs" are usually my choice relaxation music.

As for tea, I enjoy a good Earl Gray!
