STILL No Michigan Tartan?!?!?
Well it's official!
With Wisconsin's adoption of a tartan Michigan is now surrounded by states (and a province) with their own official tartans and Michigan still has none!!! Minnesota, Indiana, Ontario, OHIO!!! and now Wisconsin. The 'Michigan Up North' tartan is not official.
!!!!Come on MichiKilters!!!!
This season's Highland Games (Alma, Saline, Kalamazoo, Rockford, Detroit and the various Irish fests) would be great places to get petitions signed!
Any of you belong to Detroit's St Andrew's Society? Gotta get those guys behind you. And I believe there's a Southwest Michigan Scottish Society as well.
Have a design contest but do SOMETHING!
P.S.- As Kurmudgeon, my direct involvement tends to hurt more than it helps. So I hope some of you good-with-people types will get right on this! But I'd be happy to sign anything you come up with.
