The church at the back of our place is celebrating its 900th year, this year. On Sat they put on a concert to part celebrate it with a Welsh Male Voice Choir and they also invited Elaine and myself to give a few songs as well. We set the hall up as if we were doing our folk club with all the candles and medieval banners etc and its was real nice and cosy. During the interval I was stood at the bar enjoying a pint of Moorland Old Speckled Hen when I felt a few of the pleats of my Cilt start to rise. When I glanced around it was a very very nice young lady who with a big smile said 'Do you need a licence for this'. I replied that I did not require a licence for the Cilt but needed one for what was underneath. We both had a good laff and natter .. not about my cilt but about the 'ashes' test cricket that she a big fan of. The first series just been held down the town and its the first time it been played outside England since it started.
