overheard... on accident
It has been mentioned a number of time that we get 'selective' hearing from wearing kilts, almost a paranoia...
So I am eating my dinner yesterday, and I hear a guy say "Scottish" and a few moments later say kilt, and then he was trying to describe to his kids a rabbit fur pouch thing on the front of kilts. As we were leaving, I stopped and told him the pouch is called a sporran, and he was happy to get a name for it.
The sad thing is that I was wearing shorts because it was a work day.
The selective hearing power of the kilt last a bit longer than when the kilt is still on.
