I discovered that Greenland Pipe Co., the well known Pakistani maker of bagpipes, kilts and WHY, offer what they call an "England Flag Sporran"!

I was actually looking for faux fur dress sporrans, and the only ones I could see with a cantle had the Scottish saltire design. Then I came to their site and they had that design too, but also one with the cross of St. George!

Now, I am really only 1/8 Irish and 7/8 English, and the only tartan for England that I am aware of is the St. George tartan, which is a special weave. Imagine my surprise at seeing a dress sporran with an English flag design. BTW, I really do mean English, not British, which would be different.

I think it would be fun to wear, if a bit like a red rag to a bull in some situations. Perhaps even a bit like wearing a target down there, LOL!

I am not sure what it would cost, as they are really wholesalers and you have to apply for a price list. OTOH, they say they have no minimum order and just charge 12 % extra for small orders under $150. I have seen the Saltire version retail for $35, and they have to make a profit on that, so perhaps after paying the 12% surcharge it might be around that or a little less, although IME it costs $30 to air mail a kilt from Pakistan to the US, so probably about the same for a sporran. I doubt if it would be more than $65 including the shipping. Less if ordering more than one.
