Alive After 5 in Sanford

Thursday, March 11, downtown Sanford will hold its monthly Alive After 5 event, and this month's theme is "It's a Green Thing."

So, technically, it's Irish, but Rosie O'Grady's Highlanders pipe band will be performing, and I intend to be there, in a kilt, after I get back from my son's soccer practice, probably around 7.

It starts just after 5 on First Street in Sanford, just a little east of 17-92.

I can't promise I will be there, due to the fact I am leaving early Friday morning for Gatlinberg Tn. for the National Santa convention. I hope they have a big turn out and the Band does fine. Thank you for the invite.
