Last night I was talking to a good mate of mine living down under, who happens to be an Elliot. To be honest he has never cared much for the looks of the Elliot tartan, but wants to get a kilt that honours his Border Reiver heritage & would be somewhat acceptable to his clan or at clan functions.

I told him I'd ask the rabble on his behalf for their opinions on a substitute tartan. So, what say you?
