Meet up with A_Hay! in Edinburgh

Xmarks member A_Hay! was in Edinburgh over the weekend. Here is Tom with his wife Vicki and daughter Heather.
Tom is wearing his German Heritage tartan kilt by Rocky of USA kilts.

We visited the National Museum of Scotland where Tom was fascinated by the muckle sword.

As three of my four grandparents came from Paisley weaver families I was keen to see the collection of old looms. This handloom came from Kilbarchan, near Paisley.

Tom with a power loom built in Dunfermline in 1880.

The Wylam Dilly locomotive was built in 1813 for use at Wylam colliery in the north of England, to a design by William Hedley.

    Tom with the Ellesmere locomotive.

I leave you with this shot of a tartan taxi in Edinburgh.
