Benny Hill, Charlene's Angels
Was just watching a local broadcast station. They air a syndicated service called Antenna TV, which airs episodes of old TV programs. Friday and Saturday nights it's Benny Hill, for about 3 hours (episodes are edited down to about 1/2 hour). Unfortunately, it's the same episodes each night, in the same order.
Anyhow, they showed the "Charlene's Angels" sketch, in which Benny & the boys wind up going undercover at a Scottish-themed restaurant. They're dressed in red kilts (Royal Stewart, poss.), black Prince Charlie's w/ a lace jabot and lace at the cuffs, white fur sporran, white hose and buckle shoes. (Can't tell for sure if they're brogues or not - definitely not ghillie's). In the outdoor sequence wrapping the program (with the girls chasing after them), the guys are wearing black Balmorals, with large fluffy white toories (the toorie takes up at least 1/3 of the top of the hat).
