Trooping the Colour

It is worthy of mention that at the Trooping the Colour today--at which the Colour of the Scots Guards was trooped-- HRH The Prince Edward Earl of Wessex attended wearing the uniform of the Royal Colonel of The London Scottish, having been appointed to the position in May, and following in his late grandmother's footsteps. He looked quite splendid.

I didn't really get chance to see his kilt properly when I watched the highlights in the evening - it appeared to be purplish and plain from what I could see.

But at least he was kilted - for once!

Wonderful - thank you for sharing Sandy. Naturally, HRH The Prince Edward Earl of Wessex, would look quite smart, as HRH is quite the gentleman - just like his older brother!
