Completely Satisfied.
I just received my first Stillwater kilt last week (a standard in Black Watch). I wholeheartedly recommend it to any one looking for an affordable kilt. At 5'9" (which is supposed to be exactly "average" height) the 24" Stillwater is just a little long when worn up where it belongs, but not ridiculously so. I know many people will tell you this kilt is a good value, but could the skinny guys just skip to the end of this paragraph? Thanks. Jerry's $80 kilt is an $80 kilt, even in a size 46! No fat tax! No ups, no options. Not $49, but for you it's $120. $80 period. (I think the '12 model is $90) A big guy has to spend almost twice as much to beat it anywhere else. Really.
I was pretty astounded that I got it in the mail 4 days later. 2 weeks before Christmas I didn't really expect it for a couple of weeks. Product and service get top marks from me. I'll probably buy another, so I'll have a couple of tartan kilts to wear along with my contemporarys when I order my first custom kilt. It's not PV, it's not wool, and it's not custom made. What it is, is a pretty darn fine kilt you can have in just a few days, so you'll have a kilt to wear while you're waiting for weeks for that custom one!
