One of my friends (the bassist in my band) wants me to go to a dance at her school with one of her friends. I suggested I'd wear my kilt and she was really excited. Shes seen a pic or 2 of me in it and she loves it. If my mom doesn't freak (or doesn't know) I'm gonna go for it.

You should rent the formal attrire to go with your kilt though (if it is a formal dance that is). A nice Prince Charlie and Ghillies really makes the outfit. Just dont wear a sgian dubh to a school function. It could get you in trouble.
