ForresterModern comes to Chicago 5/15-20/16 Kilt Night with a weary traveler?
Mods please re-locate as needed.
I am coming to Chicago for a business meeting from Sunday 5/15/16 through Friday mid-day 5/20/16 and flying home that evening. I will be available if any of the locals are interested in a downtown gathering (I am at the Wyndham Riverside) on Sunday night 5/15 or Tuesday night 5/17. If no gathering can be arranged can you at least supply me with a couple kilt friendly scots/celtic downtown bars to haunt in my free evenings (Wife and Boy will not be with me this trip), especially if they have a good single malt selection. Thanks and hope to get to meet a few more of you in the Windy next month.

I would absolutely meet up, but as per my luck, I'm in Atlanta the 15th through the 20th, time to see if the Atlanta guys care to meet up!

Jeff,
Great news that you are coming to Chicago. I think the 15th works best for me.

Ha' ye' a un ur a-likin?
If anyone has a particular desire to see in person one of my kilts at the Chicago gathering let me know your preference---besides the two Forrester variants, I've also got a collection of various Douglas kilts (Ancient, Ancient Red, Black, Brown, Weathered), as well as Dutch Friendship Tartan (DFT), Maple Leaf (made by Barb T herself), Allen, and a couple I save for special occasions. Several of the kilts have been handsewn by Bonnie Heather as well so if you would like to see her work let me know (Forrester hunting, Allen, DFT, Douglas Weathered).

I certainly plan to be there on the 15th. Might reconsider the Duke of Perth North Clark Street? It has 93 single malt whiskys something Forrester Modern seems to be interested in

If I can get there by cab from the Hyatt I will be there. Single malts sound great. Must start training up my liver this weekend to be ready for respectable sampling efforts. Thanks for thinking of me guys.
Sorry I have been offline (except for work) a lot lately due to overtime at work and coaching The Boy's little league team (4-0 so far, outscoring opponents 3:1) so not checking in here as much as usual.
