    Wisconsin Highland Games August 29-31

Anyone else planning to attend the WI Games this year? Last year, this was the first Games I ever attended. Looking forward to returning for all 3 days this time.

    Yes, Sir!

I'll be competing in the morning (piobaireachd only - I only play light music for warm up).

The games are about an hour from home for me, so I decided to stay nearby and get an extra 90 minutes of sleep each day.

They still haven't updated the website, so I am not sure what the band schedule is. I believe Celtic Rock band "Radiation" is playing Saturday, so I expect them to be the closer that night. I'm guessing your competition is Saturday morning?

Yes, solos from 8:00-11:30, more or less. Pipe bands in the afternoon. It's 9 minutes away from my place, so I usually go home to shower after the solos and then come back for the pipe bands. It's traditionally an extremely hot Games.

    I may go this year. I haven't been since 2018 or 19.
