I finished editing my last trip to the north country. I didn't do as well as normal on seeing Grizzlies but had a lot of fun watching a badger family (mom and kit) romping around and the pika was very busy gathering his winter hay. My daughters family from Idaho came over for one day and had a great visit. I did watch a mountain rescue by helicopter which apparently isn't too unusual. Between trying to pet the bison and climbing up something only to find you can't get down the rescue team is pretty busy.
I had my Mckenzie weathered and Anderson kilts along. It is amazing how many people recognize me from previous years although the kilt, sun hat toe shoes and Grizzly either being carried by hand or in the musette bag probably helps.
I thought this was fun so I photoshopped a new license plate

cinnamon colored black bear at lunch
Junior got a little rough
Mom was very watchful but sometimes it looked like she was thinking there's something wrong with that child
This cinnamon bolted away with his prize as I shot
I spent an hour watching him gather grass
After every trip he drop off the grass in his den and then run over and look at me and bark
