    Las Vegas Burns Night 2026?

I've been able to contact a few people at the St. Andrew's Society of Southern Nevada, and I've read that tickets for 1 Jan 24, 2026 event are available as of October 1, 2025, but unable to discover much more about the event, HOW to purchase tickets, how well the event is attended, or anything else much about it.

Does anyone here have more information?

    Thanks so much,
    Jim Robertson

Briefly, I decided to combine two objectives by hosting my own Burns Night Supper in my brand new Las Vegas home. I assumed that I'd have little difficulty locating a piper, and OCR Richard provided a couple suggestions, but in the end I received NO responses in my attempt to book someone local. I did get an offer from Utah and two from Southern CA (including one from OCR himself, but of course the travel alone makes it too pricey for a two hour event attended largely by people who couldn't tell good piping from awful), but also, at age 78, I have aging sibs and both of them have decided they don't want to risk travel during snow season from the Upper Midwest. So, I'll report back from the St Andrews Society of Southern Nevada's gathering.

That's a shame, but quite understandable. Driving long distances in snow and ice is best avoided when possible. I hope you find the company at the event you're attending pleasant.
