Tartan Boxer Shorts at WalMart
First, I both hate to wear anything under my kilt and I hate shopping at "WalMarche."
But - at least here at our little WalMart in the canyonlands they are selling tartan pattern boxer shorts on the cheap.
They're mixed, three tartans to a pack. I've found what appear to be, or are like, Gordon, Black Watch, and Black Stuart.
I do wear boxers under my kilts when I go to work -just in case. So why not tartan boxers?
And, what could be more fitting if a kiltlifter did their thing and found tartan boxer shorts? Would not they be the embarrassed ones then??
Of course that would only apply at work, not gonna wear tartan boxers or anything else "just in case" of kilt lifting.
But, if ya want some tartan boxer shorts in assorted tartans, check out your local WalMart. Buy some and help feed the hungry children in the sweatshops of the world.

"Just in case" what?
If someone lifts your kilt at work they should be written up for sexual harassment in the workplace. I work all the time in a kilt, and I never wear anything underneath. Even back when I used to work at an all women's college (!). To my thinking, what's the point of wearing a kilt if you're going to negate any benefits of comfort by wearing something beneath it?
Hey, I could slip and fall at work, with my legs in the air, but given that it would be an accident I don't think anything would come of it. Besides, then people would stop asking me what I wear under the kilt.

Sorry Andrew, should have been clearer.
"Just in case" wasn't meant for kilt lifters, rather for the type of work I do and the work environment.
I work on a place called the Windy Mesa, because it is, wind gusts roar up Glen Canyon almost everyday and do wild things in our parking lot depending on how various types of vehicles are parked. I could get a surprise Marilyn Monroe walking to or from my truck in the agency parking lot.
As a therapist I sit seated, across from clients. If I don't stay properly situated I could get careless or so focused on an issue that I might accidently flash a client, totally disrupting therapy.
My agency is two story with two open stairwells and an overhanging walkway on the second floor. Someone could intentionally, or accidently, position themselves to look up my kilt when I was on the stairs or the walkway. Remember, the nature of my work is that many clients have a mental illness.
Like many of you, coworkers seem to do the most teasing about my kilts. One young Mormon therapist was giving me the "I can see up your kilt" line on St. Paddy's Day. I was 3/4 up the stairs, he was on the first floor looking up at me. He couldn't, but was teasing that he could.
All I'd want is assurance that if something happened that gave someone a look all they'd see is dark fabric, or at worst, a pair of boxer shorts from a wind gust.
No reason to have the freedom to wear my kilts to work undermined by management having a sudden case for indecency.
