Philly kilt night - 5/28
OK lots of lead time here so you can get it into your calendar.
Inaki is going to be in town and wants to experience the wonders of Finnigan's Wake. Declan's never been there, either, so I'm hoping he can make it out. Anyone else in?

the 28th I can be there, just a bit later than normal (have my last show that night) if we did sunday since some people have off monday, I'm completely free.

I mean no offense, but I'm a little confused. In my experience, I've seen the same crowd at Kildare's WC that I have at Finnegans Wake ("underage," etc). What's the difference, other than the two girls making out with each other?
Just curious.

I've seen some young people at FW, but I think the age spectrum has much more of a mix at FW than at Kildare's of WC (which is almost all college students it seems). If you have a Multiply account you can see my pics from my last visit to FW which shows quite a range of ages of female patrons.
Kildares has a more uptight crowd, too, IMHO.

Jeremy,
I am with you...there is not much difference in the crowds out FW or Kildares. Unless one of the Celtic bands is playing downstairs that night the crowd is all college kids and bachelorette parties (very obnoxious). I checked FW’s website and they have not updated the May calendar yet. Without a Celtic band FW is nothing more than a bar full of immature college kids and really bad cover bands. Let’s be honest calling it an Irish bar is a stretch most of the time. Just my two cents worth.

w00t! Looks like I'm going to have my new PK in time for the 5/28 kilt night. Sounds like we should have a great turnout. I can't wait!
