You mean it was gone? Funny, didn't miss a thing.
I haven't heard all the details yet but according to my FiL, a big fan, it won't be back the way it was before. Heck, look at MLB, they are still trying to recover from the last strike.

It could very well be, Mike...time will tell. But for the "die-hards", this a great day, and nothing will spoil it because our game is back!
Awright...where's my copy of "Mystery Alaska"? ;)

I am soooo stupid
Despite being descended from Canadians on both sides of my family (Quebec and CBI) I remain, at my advanced age, unable to understand how that game is played...other than the obvious thunking of pucks and guys in the other jerseys.
I do like the replica hockey jerseys for comfort and have a Coyotes and a Univ of Vermont hockey jersey...but God help me if anyone asked me about the game!!

The missus would say "Go Panthers!", but I can't write that:
GO FLAMES!
Please, no mention Tampa Bay!

Finally! It was a LONG winter with no Blackhawks hockey to watch.
A few years back, I installed a C band satellite system in my home. Woo-hoo, I watched hockey all the time. I even got hooked on collegiate hockey and always enjoyed watching the Beanpot every season. And Saturday nights? Tune in an Anik bird, because it was Hockey Night in Canada. i sure wish there was a way to be able to get CBC programming on my digital dish.
Does Don "Sartorial Splendor" Cherry still do HNiC shows?
