I don't know of any that late.
The Central New York Games are Aug. 13 in Liverpool, near Syracuse and the Capital District Games are Labor Day weekend in Altamont, near Albany.
There are summer games in Amherst (Buffalo) and in Letchworth State Park, but those are already over, I believe.

The Letchworth event was held a few weeks ago. Don't know when Buffalo's is held.
Why is the month of November important? In Upstate the weather is pretty bad in November (snow is pretty usual) and wouldn't be ideal for competition.

NY Highland Games - August 2005
Central NY Games - Aug 13th Syracuse NY

Amherst Games- Saturday Aug 20th Amherst (north of Buffalo)

I will be attending both. It will be my 2nd time to Syracuse Games. 4th time for Amherst Games (one building is airconditioning - it helps sometimes with the heat- due to lack of shade).
I do not think there is one in November in this area. Towards the end of September there is the Celtic Classic in Bethlem PA, 3 days of great craic, and its free. I have been to that one 3 times.. missed last years. I am planning to go.
