Bear, four-yard, Formal Cut kilt pics
OK, as promised, here are several pictures of the four-yard, Formal Cut Bear Kilt in the muted MacNaughton tartan. Jimmy Carbomb wanted close-ups, so here ya' go, Jimmy! Note the fringed LEFT edge of the over-apron.
Those are blazing white Bear kilt/rugby hose, eh? I just wore them to annoy you all and give Hamish a headache! LOLOL! They really are nice, tho....miles ahead of the other rugby socks I bought.
This is a really old digital camera, sorry for the slightly fuzzy images.
OK, close-ups.... one side
slightly smooshed pleats....I"ve been sitting at my desk all day.
and the other side....
By the way, that's my one-dollar belt from the neighborhood garage sale...the $13 belt buckle from ebay, the $35 sporran from ebay and the $20 sporran straps bought from the leatherworker at the Yule Faire here at the University this past December.

Great tartan Alan! Bear has got to get that lead time down!!! That fringed apron is growing on me since I got to my USA Kilt with fringed bottom edge. It really gives it a nice rugged look.

Nice kilt, nice tartan, even a nice hat!! and with all the accessories the whole look comes together very nicely, even with the white hose !!;)
I love to see a kilt come up to the navel, I'm no fan of hipster kilts.
