    Any metalsmiths at Xmarksthescot?

Is anyone here a metalsmith? Or, does anyone here know of a metalsmith who's reputable and produces fine work? Preferably someone who specializes in and/or works with pewter and/or silver?

There is a man here in NC that does some excellent work in sterling silver. He's done some custom jewelry for me. If you can remember to PM or email me on Monday morning, I can get his number for you.

    Matt,

Thanks for the info...I should be specific and state that we're looking for someone to produce our badge, albeit at a fair price. I've had a few quotes so far that have been a little steep for initial setup (mold, etc). Worse case scenario, I may end up doing some of this on my own (I need a new Dremel anyway).

I know a couple of sword smiths that have produced very intricate work. I have no idea if they would consider something like a clan badge though. Take a look at odinblades.com. If he did anything he would probably acid etch the badge. But I can't speak for him.

I am trying to think of other swordsmiths (I know no jewelry smiths) that might consider something like this. I will post them if I think of them. If on the other hand you want a dirk, a sgian dubh, a baskethilt, or any other scottish knife/sword I have a whole list of guys to contact.
