    Belt for Survival UK

I got my Tan Survival UK last night. After trying it on I started looking for a belt to go with it. My brown traditional leather belt looks ok with it. I started thinking about my options. I have a black Galco Reinforced Instructors Belt in the closet that I wear with BDUs when required. I tried it on but I am not sure if it looks ok.

Here is a pic of the belt http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterP3.asp...&CatalogID=256

Has anyone else tried this out? Any thoughts?

Given the nature of the survival kilt, I think it would look ok depending on the shirt.

I will try to get a photo of the belt and kilt together.

I wear a 1.75" wide brown leather belt which I picked up from walmart for $11.00 with my Sage / Basil Survival.

Go to almost any fleamarket and yo will find a guy selling three hole black or brown belts for $5. They do work, but only last about a year or so. It'll at least hold you over till you can find something better.

Of all my kilt belts I still like the ones AmeriKilt sells. Wide and basic and sturdy. You can order brown if you request it. May just show black on the website. Wear them with all my UKs too.

I appreciate the info. But, I am broke right now. I have to use what I got. I brought the Kilt an belt in to work this morning. I am hoping the boss can take a pic with his camera.

Ok, I got the photo posted at http://photos.yahoo.com/docwalke
You should be able to see it there.

I think it is a neat combination. The belt goes well with khaki BDU's so I think it should go well with the Survival UK.
