Pix from Richmond VA Celtic Games

Here is a picture of me from the Richmond Celtic Games.
It is not historically correct, I was busy running back and forth from
the Lamont Clan tent to my RevWar unit-the MacDonald Highlander the 76th. When the photo was taken I was wearing a late 18th century box-pleat kilt with mid-18th century jacket and waistcoat (I do some '45 stuff also).

sorry I'ts a somewhat grainy photo, but you get the idea.

Last year we were set up by the stage and next to the Irish group, that
was a rainy weekend.

I'm not sure how many of us are going to Richmond this year-there is a
timing conflict with several of the unit members.
If you find the pictures I'd like to see them.

How I do envy you David I think if I lived in the US I'd be a re-enactor myself.

Those are great pics.

I wish we had a reenactor group around here that would show up to the Texas Scottish Festival. The SCA comes, & we have some guys who are in the "Queen's Own Highlanders" at Scarborough Fair (our area ren faire), but they don't do anything organized (in fact, they are good enough to recognize that Scottish festivals are NOT ren faires). :-)
